4 Marty's Yard, 17 Hampstead High Street
THE PHILADELPHIA ASSOCIATION was founded in 1965 by R. D. Laing and colleagues in order to challenge established ways of thinking about and treating mental distress. For more than fifty years they have offered an open-minded alternative approach to psychotherapy that is unique in Britain.
The Philadelphia Association’s building is located in Hampstead, north west London, where courses and events take place in the seminar room. There is also a library and several consulting rooms. Marty’s Yard is a short walk from Hampstead tube station, opposite the Hampstead High Street Post Office. The 268 and 46 bus services stop nearby.
