To all present and past members

It is with regret that I have to inform you that John Rowan died on Saturday 26 May aged 93 years.

John was an Honorary Life Member and founder of UKAHPP and it is through his writings and training initiatives that he is recognised as the father of Humanistic Psychology in the UK.

The UKAHPP will be opening a condolences page on the website, so past and present members can share their thoughts and reflections. Please send your contribution to Jan at admin@ahpp.org.uk

If you are free and would like to attend, John’s funeral service will be held at 12.30pm on Friday 22 June at Green Acres Burial Ground in Epping. More information is available to download below.

John was also a major contributor to the AHPb and Self & Society and their conference, Love Madness and Transformation on 30 June in London, will be a timely tribute – http://ahpb.org/

On behalf of UKAHPP Members I would like to send our deepest sympathy and respect to John’s wife Sue.

With kind regards

Derek Lawton
UKAHPP Chair
