I am an accredited UKCP psychotherapist, a registered member of BACP . have over 25 years experience as a therapist and have worked for both public and private sector organisations. I work with individuals, couples and groups. I am also a trained mediator, with 16 years experience of working for the Home Office. Additionally I am a qualified supervisor with 16 years experience of supervising both new and experienced therapists.
I have substantial experienced of working with bereaved clients and those who are near to death through my work with Terence Higgins Trust and the Mulberry Centre. I also coordinated a bereavement counselling service for 3 years.
I currently work for an NHS drug and alcohol service where I work with clients with enduring mental health issues and personality dis-orders.
I am also a professionally trained teacher and trainer and have provided bespoke training on a range of therapeutic issues including mental health, suicide and stress awareness. I am also a qualified mindfulness teacher.
My current interest is to undertake research to look at the links between early childhood bereavement and addictions in later life.
