About Me

Welcome to my practice, Brighton Counselling. I also offer Clinical Supervision for qualified counsellors and those in training. I work face to face and online. I offer you a confidential, safe space to talk through what brings you to counselling at this time.

My background is Integrative Humanistic and Gestalt. I offer both short- and long-term counselling for people with a wide range of issues. You may be suffering from anxiety or stress and need a confidential supportive space to explore what has brought you to this point.

Perhaps you are experiencing a crisis or going through significant life changes. You may want to work out, with counselling support, whether to stay together in your relationship or not, or to establish what needs to change.

Perhaps you have unresolved childhood issues that require linking past events and experiences to see and change patterns in the present through the counselling process.

I also have much experience in the field of bereavement counselling. As a grief counsellor, I will look closely at the impact of your loss with you, this may also include your experience of shock which can be complicated to navigate on your own.

I work with clients with serious health related illnesses such as heart disease, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, and cancer. You may want counselling in preparation for or following surgery.

I also work with young people aged over 18 including students at Brighton University and University of Sussex and various other courses in the area. It has been a particularly challenging time for young people. Please contact me directly on behalf of your young person if they would prefer.
